Incensed

In Anthony Comstock’s record of arrests, he noted the death of Patrick Bannon, 45, a bookstore owner he had arrested. Subsequently, he was “incensed” when the presiding judge refused to punish Bannon’s 11-year-old son who clerked in the store on Saturdays.
