Turkey Trot

In May of 1913, Comstock arrested 17-year-old Solomon Rosenblum on a charge of selling postcards showing illustrations of the Turkey Trot, a popular dance step, saying, “I consider them suggestive.” Rosenblum was fined for selling postcards without a license and released.
